• SÛLION will present its new range of IoT products with incorporated Wi-Fi antennas in EFICAM 2019, which will be held on March 27 and 28
• The connection with Amazon Echo and Google Home is possible without a HUB or Gateway
Madrid, March 22, 2019 - Homes are becoming more intelligent and devices like Amazon Echo, Google Home or Apple HomePod have allowed to domotize them without alterations, remodeling or large investments. In the residential sector, more and more manufacturers are adding to their products a communication language compatible with the TUYA platform, which use the WIFI protocol, to make them compatible with the aforementioned intelligent speakers.
Thus, in the market we find televisions, coffee makers, ovens, refrigerators, microwaves, heaters, air conditioners, ceiling fans, light bulbs, luminaires, etc. that incorporate a wifi antenna that allows contact with smart devices without the need of a HUB or Gateway. Amazon Echo or Google Home interact directly with the appliance or luminaire without the need for intermediaries.
"If something is now clear in the world of home automation, is that the communication interface between machines and man is led by Google and Amazon. The manufacturers invest in R & D so that our products are directly compatible with these devices increasingly used in all homes. At SÛLION we have launched a new range of global IoT products, not just lighting, which connect directly with Amazon Echo and Google Home ", explains Antonio Viñuela, commercial director of SÛLION.
The presentation of this range of products SÛLION will take place in the 4th edition of EFICAM, which will be held on March 27 and 28 in the glass palace of Casa de Campo in Madrid. The Spanish company pioneer in ceiling fans will present the TUYA platform for the Internet of Things (IoT) and a wide portfolio of products compatible with Alexa and Google Home that launches to the market ranging from smartplug and power strips to light bulbs, luminaires, sensors and video-cameras.
"The acquisition of a speaker / microphone from Amazon Echo or Google Home is nothing more than the beginning of domotization of the home. We then seek to make our house little by little more intelligent. Starting by changing that light bulb that has broken or incorporating a smartplug in that device that we use so much and we need to manage from outside the home, to later replace appliances or incorporate new possibilities in our home. Domotization has only just begun, "says Viñuela.
